The Kiel ACM-W  Professional Chapter was established in 2023 with the vision of fostering gender mainstreaming, as well as enhancing and advocating gender balance in computer-related scientific fields and professional sectors in Trondheim.

Mission Statement

The Kiel ACM-W  mission is to promote women’s education and careers in the field of computing while also urging the European professional and scholarly community to actively support and facilitate the participation and professional growth of women in computing. This aligns with the ACM-W Europe‘s mission to globally champion, celebrate, and endorse women’s complete involvement in all aspects of the computing industry. To achieve this, they offer a diverse array of programs and services to ACM members and collaborate with the broader community to enhance the impact of women in technology.
